Confirmed line-ups as Spurs look to continue promising start under Frank

Tottenham Hotspur have the chance to move up to second in the Premier League table with victory over Wolves, who are still searching for their first point of the new campaign.

Spurs have made a promising start to life under new boss Thomas Frank, having won three of their opening top-flight games as well as victory in the opening round of Champions League fixtures.

Wolves, by stark contrast, have endured a miserable first couple of months of the season, losing all five of their league games and having found the net just three times.

Frank’s men will therefore begin the game as firm favourites but Vitor Pereira – who recently signed a new three-year deal at Molineux – and his team will be hungry to register their first points of the season.

Read on to see how the two teams line up at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham team news

Frank names seven changes from the EFL Cup victory over Doncaster Rovers on Wednesday.

Guglielmo Vicario returns in goal, while Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Lucas Bergvall, Mohammed Kudus and Richarlison all come back into the starting line-up.

Pedro Porro is replaced by Destiny Udogie.

Wolves team news

Pereira makes just one change from Wolves’ EFL Cup win over Everton on Tuesday, with Joao Gomes coming in to replace Jean-Ricner Bellegarde.

Bellegarde moves to the bench, with Jose Sa and Jackson Tchatchoua named in the matchday squad.
