The Golden State Warriors are expected to discuss trade deals for Jonathan Kuminga this season, according to Jake Fischer of The People’s Insider.
Kuminga, who signed a two-year, $48.5 million deal last month, will be eligible for trades on January 15. Kuminga’s contract includes a 15% trade kicker should he be traded after that date.
Fischer adds that the relationship between Kuminga and the Warriors is “strained” after their most recent negotiations.
Kuminga, who reported to training camp on Thursday, added that he wants to be with the team for the long-term.Â
