I have no idea who would be a good GM — that’s not something I research a lot. 🙂

But as for a coach, I know having a first time HC has not worked out for us at all, but I do feel there are guys out there who can be innovative, motivating and still move the franchise into the future without trying to rely on a re-tread that has already piqued. That being said, I’d like to see the next coach of the Dolphins be Chris Shula. It’s for more than just his name. I think he’s been a very reliable, innovative DC for the Rams. The players seem to like and respect him, and the Rams defense, in my opinion, is playing above their means. Maybe coming to Miami with the cultural problems would be a lot, but his name alone would be a story a lot of players would want to be a part of, which could change the type of players we attract. There are some hard-working, reliable players on this team. It’s become obvious, tho, that the leadership is what is questionable. I don’t think someone with a resume and legacy like Shula would have a problem in that regard. I wouldn’t have a problem with Gruden, but I would rather roll the dice (again) with a younger, newer football mind that can maybe adapt to the changing game than one who still thinks like it’s 2015. If you keep rolling the dice, odds are at some point you have to win.
