ESPN Averages 233M Viewers For Wednesday Doubleheader Up 44 perc From Last Year


ESPN’s first Wednesday night doubleheader averaged 2.33 million viewers, an increase of 44% from last season.

The number also only trails 2012 and 2023 as the network’s most-watched opening night doubleheader.

The Spurs-Mavs game averaged 2.49 million viewers, up 63% from the Suns-Clippers last season.

Cavs-Knicks drew 2.17 million viewers earlier in the night.

The ESPN premiere of “Inside the NBA” averaged 1.0 million viewers, up 13% from last year’s edition on TNT.
