Cadillac to launch 2026 livery during Super Bowl

Cadillac has announced it will launch its first Formula 1 livery during the 2026 Super Bowl.

The General Motors and TWG Motorsports team will have taken part in its first official session in Barcelona at the end of January, as all teams shake down new cars ahead of the pre-season tests in Bahrain. To unveil the first livery for the team, Cadillac has purchased an advertising spot during the NFL’s Super Bowl on Feb. 8, exposing it to a potential audience of over 100 million viewers.

“The Super Bowl is one of the rare moments in American culture where sports, entertainment and storytelling come together, and it gives us a chance to introduce Cadillac Formula 1 Team on a stage that reflects who we are,” Cadillac F1 CEO Dan Towriss said. “We’re proud of our American heritage and we want to show up in a way that feels bold, innovative and distinctly ours. This is just the beginning, but it’s a moment I’m incredibly proud of.”

Cadillac is the fifth team to confirm when it will launch its 2026 identity, with Red Bull and Racing Bulls partnering with Ford in Michigan on Jan. 15, followed by Alpine in Barcelona on Jan. 23, and Aston Martin on Feb. 9.

Discussions are ongoing but teams are likely to be allowed to run their 2026 liveries during the Barcelona shakedown if they have already launched the color scheme, whereas those who haven’t will run in one-off designs across the five days in Spain.
