February 2026 — Preparations are advancing in both the Philippines and India as host cities finalize plans for the upcoming AVC Women’s Cup 2026 and AVC Men’s Cup 2026, two key events on the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) calendar.
In Candon City, Philippines, Asian Volleyball Confederation President Ramon Suzara met with Candon City Mayor Eric Singson and Philippine Sports Commission Chairman Patrick Gregorio as local preparations ramp up for the AVC Women’s Cup 2026, scheduled for June 6–14. The meeting highlighted strong coordination between the AVC and Philippine authorities to ensure the successful staging of the tournament.
The Women’s Cup will feature 12 national teams competing for continental honors, bringing together Asia’s leading women’s squads for nine days of competition. Organizers continue to finalize venue readiness, technical operations, team services, and event logistics in accordance with AVC standards.
Meanwhile, in Ahmedabad, India, Asian Volleyball Confederation and Volleyball World delegates conducted an official inspection visit on February 22–23 at the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex, host venue of the AVC Men’s Cup 2026, set for June 20–28. The inspection, carried out in coordination with the Sports Authority of Gujarat, reviewed key operational areas including competition setup, broadcast requirements, accommodation, transportation, and overall event logistics.

The Men’s Cup will also bring together Asia’s top national teams for nine days of competition, further strengthening competitive pathways across the region.
With both tournaments scheduled in June, the AVC continues to work closely with host cities and stakeholders to ensure the successful organization of two flagship events that will further elevate the standard and visibility of volleyball throughout the continent.
