The new brain trust of the Miami Dolphins met with the media at the NFL Scouting Combine yesterday. General manager Jon-Eric Sullivan was kind enough to provide some updates on players, including quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. He stated that everything was on the table including a trade, which seems highly unlikely with Tua’s contract and the common knowledge that he’ll be cheaper once he is released by the team. Sullivan also said they have discussed Malik Willis and other quarterback options amongst themselves.
Head coach Jeff Hafley also got a few words in to the media. He said he’d like to focus on the edge rusher room as they are pretty slim at that position at the moment. Thankfully this upcoming draft class may have some answers for the Dolphins pass rush solution.
