Some teams eyeing the Winnipeg Jets’ blue line
The Fourth Period: The Winnipeg Jets could look to move pending UFA defensemen Luke Schenn and Logan Stanley. Among the teams believed to be looking for defensemen are the Tampa Bay Lightning, Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers, Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes.
Other pending UFAs for the Jets are goaltender Eric Comrie and forwards Jonathan Toews, Gustav Nyquist and Tanner Pearson.
The Jets might have some interest in adding a player to their roster, but they would have to have term left on their deal.

Some defenseman that the San Jose Sharks could be looking at
Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now: The San Jose Sharks sit five points out of the wild card spot, and they could be looking to add a defenseman. Some potential options for the Sharks.
Dougie Hamilton – New Jersey Devils – Two years left at $9 million and a 10-team trade list. The Sharks aren’t on his trade list. They were interested last offseason.
Justin Faulk – St. Louis Blues – A year left at $6.5 millin and a 15-team no-trade list. Might cost a first-round pick, maybe a high pick and a prospect. Faulk would likely cost more than Hamilton to acquire, so Hamilton may have more appeal to the Sharks.
Mason Lohrei – Boston Bruins – The 25-year-old has another year left and may need a change of scenery. Has been healthy scratched.
Zach Whitecloud – Calgary Flames – Getting a lot more ice time in Calgary. Two years left on his contract at $2.75 million. Two scouts said it may cost a second-round pick and a prospect.
Logan Stanley – Winnipeg Jets – A 6-foot-7, left-shot pending UFA defenseman. Not playing top-four minutes in Winnipeg.
