Kuldeep and Vanshika are childhood friends who got engaged last year. They had a private engagement ceremony in Lucknow on June 4, 2025. After their wedding in Uttarakhand, the couple is set to host a grand reception in Lucknow on Tuesday, March 17.
Kuldeep Yadav had a limited role in India’s T20 World Cup 2026-winning campaign. He played one group-stage match against Pakistan.
The left-arm wrist spinner dismissed Mohammad Nawaz and conceded just 14 runs in his three overs. Notably, the team management preferred Varun Chakaravarthy over Kuldeep as the main spinner in the playing XI.
Kuldeep played a key role in India’s T20 World Cup 2024 win. He picked up 10 wickets in five matches at an average of 13.90 and an economy rate of 6.95. The left-arm spinner also delivered a match-winning 3/19 in the semifinal against England in Guyana.
Yuzvendra Chahal Remains Absent from International Cricket
Yuzvendra Chahal was dropped from the national T20I team after the T20 World Cup 2024. He was part of the squad but did not play a single match in the tournament.
Chahal has since lost his regular place in the limited-overs team, as the management preferred Varun Chakaravarthy, who moved ahead of him in the selection order.
The 35-year-old leg-spinner recently played for Haryana in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025. He featured in three matches and took four wickets at an economy rate of 9.90 before returning to training.

Yuzvendra Chahal will return to competitive cricket during the upcoming IPL 2026 season. The Punjab Kings (PBKS) retained him ahead of the recent mini-auction.
He remains a key part of their spin attack after consistent performances in the previous season.
In 2025, Chahal took 16 wickets in 13 innings at an economy rate of 9.55. The Punjab-based franchise finished as runners-up after a narrow six-run loss to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the final.
Punjab Kings are now preparing for the new season. The Shreyas Iyer-led team will start their IPL 2026 campaign against Gujarat Titans (GT) in Mullanpur on March 31.
