The Sunshine Double ended in dark descent for Stefanos Tsitipas.

Former world No. 3 Tsitsipas decried lack of light as Arthur Fils overpowered the Greek 6-0, 6-1 on Sunday night.

It was the most lopsided loss of Tsitsipas’ career and saw the world No. 51 slam the Miami Open stadium for insufficient lighting.

“You should be ashamed. Have you ever seen me serve and miss a forehand for five hours straight?” Tsitsipas asked the chair umpire. “That doesn’t happen. I can’t see the ball, I don’t know how he sees it.”

Credit Fils for scoring his fifth win over Tsitsipas in as many meetings in just 55 minutes. Fils will face Valentin Vacherot for a place in the quarterfinals.
