Will Shubman Gill play the Gujarat Titans’ (GT) upcoming match against the Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi? There are doubts ahead of the DC vs GT match of the IPL 2026 as the Gujarat captain missed the previous match because of a muscle spasm.
In the absence of Gill, GT lost the match to the Rajasthan Royals. Without Shubman in the lineup, the team was forced to change the opening pair well. Along with their regular opener, Sai Sudharsan, the team paired up another emerging batter, Kumar Kushagra, to face the new ball. Sudharshan played well, but the young opener failed to impress, scoring 18 runs off 14 balls.

Ahead of the Gujarat Titans’ upcoming fixture, Sai Sudharsan provides an update on their skipper. Sudharshan confirmed that their leader is all set to play against the Delhi Capitals. “Shubman is coming along well. He’ll be playing tomorrow,” Sudharsan said in the pre-match press conference.
