Sinner has now become the second player in history to win the first three major titles of a season. Only Novak Djokovic, in 2015, had previously achieved the feat.

22 on the Trot

Sinner has now won 22 consecutive Masters 1000 matches, dropping just two sets in the process. His current winning streak at this level is tied for sixth all-time. Djokovic leads the list with 31 consecutive Masters 1000 wins in 2011, from the second round of Indian Wells all the way to the Cincinnati final.

17 and counting

Sinner stretches his overall winning streak to 17 victories with the win. The streak includes his title runs at Indian Wells, Miami and Monte-Carlo. He has also won 17 of his last 18 matches against Top 10 players, losing only to Novak Djokovic in this year’s Australia Open in that span.
