They won three matches during the Super Six stage of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifiers to seal their spot for the mega event, starting on June 12 in Birmingham. For their historic event, the Netherlands announced the 15-member squad on May 6.

Babette de Leede has been named the Netherlands Women’s National Cricket Team captain for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. Leede will handle the wicketkeeping duty as well as open for the side. They also have picked the strong batting line-up featuring Sterre Kalis and Heather Siegers.
