EX-STEELER JOINS RADIO
Ramon Foster was an offensive lineman for the Steelers from 2009-2019. While he didn’t make any Pro Bowls or All-Pro teams, he was still an integral part of their offense’s success in the 2010s. He was an underrated piece of their lineup. Foster has been retired for a few years now, but he’s still been involved with the NFL.
Foster recently earned a new job. Paul Kuharsky shared on Twitter that Foster will become the new color analyst for Tennessee Titans Radio. A Tennessee-native, Foster was part of the University of Tennessee’s radio team last year. The Steelers will face the Titans this year, so Foster will have a chance to call a game with his former team involved.
RUDOLPH HONORED
Most of the attention in the Steelers’ quarterback room is going to Drew Allar and Will Howard. Aaron Rodgers, who isn’t signed to the team currently, is also creating a lot of buzz. However, Mason Rudolph has been the forgotten man at quarterback for the Steelers. He’s the team’s veteran at the moment, and he could be in play for the starting job.
While the Steelers are in the middle of some offseason work, Rudolph recently took some time to be honored by his local community. Post and Courier York County posted on Twitter that Rudolph was inducted into the York County Sports Hall of Fame. He played high school football in the area, and it’s nice to see him being recognized for his hard work.
FORMER STEELERS RB SPEAKS TO HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS
The Steelers are one of the NFL’s most successful franchises, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t had some down times. The 1980s and early 1990s were particularly rough. However, the Steelers still had some decent players in that era. That includes running back Tim Worley, who played for the team from 1989-1993. He rushed for over 700 yards as a rookie, accumulating over 1,300 total rushing yards in Pittsburgh.
Worley went on to join the Chicago Bears, with his playing career ending after the 1994 season. Worley recently took time to speak to players for Central High School in Carrollton, Georgia, as the team posted on Twitter. He had some personal issues during his time in the NFL, but it seems like he’s overcome them and is trying to help people avoid dealing with those same issues.
