With the Miami Dolphins’ 2026 draft in the books and most of free agency behind us, I asked the following question last week:
What new jersey from this year’s Miami Dolphins draft class do you plan to purchase either this offseason or in the somewhat near future, and why?
Below are some of your thoughts and answers-
MiamiItaliano went with a player who, if he lives up to expectations, should be a fan favorite.
Rodriguez #10 for sure. I have little doubt that he’ll be a tackling machine. Maybe Bell #18, but I want to wait and see if he regains his form pre-injury.
SuperG!, in response to MiamiItaliano, is at the forefront of the next big fad in South Florida, the big, full mustache.
The rule is if you buy the Rodriguez jersey you have to wear the ‘stache.
UpInPensacola is not spending that kind of money on a single piece of clothing. They are too expensive given what they likely cost to actually manufacture (which is $10-$25 depending on the jersey).
At $165, there will be no jersey. Would rather spoil my wife, kid, or the grandkids.
madcitydave wants to add an Achane edition to his collection.
Current Dolphins jerseys that I own. Marino, Madison, Marshall, Williams, Bush, and Tua. Definitely going to get an Achane jersey. Still think I can get them from China for around 30 bucks and they look pretty sweet.
finfanfromsiam, in response to madcitydave, points out a sad truth. I looked it up, most game-worn jerseys are made in the USA, but consumer-level replicas, aka the jerseys we as fans get to purchase, are made in China, Honduras, and Guatemala.
Pretty sure they all come from there….
Phoenix6 wants a vet and a rookie jersey.
PA phinphan would like to have more, but is not a big fan of feeding the beast that the NFL has become.
This is where I struggle. I want a jersey to support my beloved Dolphins. I have a throwback Marino my daughter got me two years ago. However, I cringe at the idea of giving the NFL any of my money. Roger the Dodger has more than he needs but yet wants more at the expense of the fans.
I, too, like some of you, need an Achane jersey now that it seems as if he will be a Phin for a while. As it applies to the rookies, I will take a more wait-and-see approach to see who actually has the goods once the games are for real. As always, thank you to everyone who took the time to answer our question of the day.
