Foolad Mobarakeh Sepahan Crowned CAVA Women’s League 2025 Champions in Malé

Malé, Maldives — Foolad Mobarakeh Sepahan of Iran were crowned champions of the CAVA Women’s League 2025 on February 10 after defeating Turan VC of Kazakhstan in straight sets in the gold medal match at the Social Center Indoor Hall.

The Iranian club completed the tournament unbeaten, sealing the title with a 3–0 victory (25–22, 25–20, 25–20) in a final that featured two of the competition’s most consistent teams.

Foolad Mobarakeh Sepahan entered the championship match with momentum after a dominant semifinal performance and carried that composure into the final. They edged a competitive first set through disciplined blocking and controlled serving, then maintained their advantage in the second despite strong resistance from Turan VC. In the third set, Foolad tightened their defense and limited Turan’s attacking options to close out the match and secure the title in straight sets.

With the victory, Foolad Mobarakeh Sepahan were officially crowned champions of the CAVA Women’s League 2025 and secured qualification for the AVC Women’s Champions League 2026, earning the right to represent the CAVA zone at the continental level.

The final day was attended by Chief Guest Hon. Abdulla Rafiu, Minister of Sports, Fitness and Recreation of the Republic of Maldives, alongside CAVA President Mr. Mohamed Latheef, senior CAVA officials, and representatives of the Volleyball Association of Maldives.
