Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) President Ramon Suzara held a productive meeting with World Olympics Taekwondo Federation President Mr. Moon Dae-sung to explore opportunities for enhanced cooperation between the two organizations.

The discussion focused on strengthening the relationship between volleyball and taekwondo in Asia, with both sides exchanging views on sport development, youth engagement, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. The meeting highlighted a shared vision of expanding participation, promoting athlete development, and elevating the global profile of their respective sports across the continent.

“We believe that collaboration among international federations creates valuable opportunities for shared learning and mutual growth,” Suzara said. “By working closely with the World Olympics Taekwondo Federation, we can exchange best practices, support youth development initiatives, and further strengthen the foundation of sport in Asia.”

The two leaders also discussed governance standards, athlete pathways, and strategies to enhance visibility and engagement in emerging markets. The dialogue reflected a mutual commitment to promoting excellence, innovation, and sustainable development in Asian sport.
