The Los Angeles Kings need to find some scoring help
Daily Faceoff: The Los Angeles Kings are going to try and find some scoring after the loss of Kevin Fiala, which won’t be easy to do given they’ve already moved a top trade asset in Liam Greentree. The Kings may have to settle on a lesser score, but they will add by the trade deadline.

Jeff Marek: “I don’t think that the Los Angeles Kings want to have Anze Kopitar‘s career end in the regular season. They want his career to end in the playoffs, whenever that, whenever that is. And I don’t think we can lose sight of that.
I think the Washington Capitals probably feel the same way about Alexander Ovechkin, if this is indeed his final season in the NHL.
NHL Rumors: Boston Bruins, and the Vancouver Canucks
So I do, they’ve made the splash with Artemi Panarin. And as we all know, the hardest thing for the Los Angeles Kings to do is score goals. Man, you lose (Kevin) Fiala here; that is a major dent in your armor. So I cannot see Ken Holland sitting on his hands. I think it’s incumbent on Ken Holland, he probably knows this too, he’s got to go out, and he’s got to use that LTIR space to bring in a score for sure. Gregs.
Jason Gregor: “Yeah, I think he will. I’m just not sure there’s an abundance of scorers to be had. And because he already gave up (Liam) Greentree, like, who’s he going to have? Like, will his package be able to match someone else who’s looking for.
Because I just there’s, I do think he’ll get someone guys, but it might not be as high-end of a scorer as he would like, simply because he might lose out on that.”
