Senne and a group of pupils were joined by children’s author A.M. Dassu as they took part in
The Great Big World Book Day 2026 Footy and Booky Quiz, a live quiz shared with over
half-a-million children across the country this morning, on World Book Day.
Taking place at one of 30 primary schools partnered with Manchester United Foundation,
Senne helped to hand out books from the National Literacy Trust to the delighted children,
and spoke about his enjoyment of reading growing up and how that has helped him in his
career.
Making his first community visit with Manchester United Foundation, Senne said: “It’s a
fantastic initiative from the Foundation around reading and writing. I still read a lot today and
it helps me in football as well.
