Rapid – Day 1
The Super Rapid & Blitz Poland is the first stage of the 2026 Grand Chess Tour. The tournament features rapid and blitz chess.
A single round-robin, rapid event takes place on 5-7 May, with a time control of 25 minutes for the whole game plus 10-second increments per move. A double round-robin, blitz event follows on 8-9 May, with a time control of 5 minutes for the game plus 2-second increments per move.
The event features a prize fund that amounts to $200,000, with $50,000 reserved for the winner. Grand Chess Tour points will also be awarded.
