I’m going to drop some names here…and keep in mind that this is all based on potential. To me, when I look at this class, there are comparisons you can make with past Dolphin players without too much effort…But some of these guys are clearly unique to Miami. But here goes
Proctor-Only real comp is Tunsil. Proctor’s size and athleticism are unique. At G, we’ve never had anybody like him. And if he stays at that position, your talking about a Larry Allen type potential player. But he’s got a ways to go to get there.
Johnson-He reminds me of what Byron Jones was supposed to be. Hopefully he has better luck and a little different mentality.
Rodriguez-Comparable to ZT of course. But Rodriquez has “big play” all over his game. Some guys just have that knack…AJ Duhe was one of those guys too. Also reminds me of Luke Kuechly…
Douglas-We’ve never really had a tall, down the field threat like this. So much of what he could end up being is going to be tied to how good the QB is with the deep ball.
Kacmarek-Fasano immediately comes to mind when I think about this guy.
Bell-I want to see how he emerges from his injury, but he’s a blend of a couple of different past WR’s to me. McDuffie, Chambers, and some real separation skills too.
Taaffe-Just think Blackwood…
Campbell-big stretch here but I’m going with Keith Sims. Campbell is already a pretty solid pass protector, and Sims excelled in that area. If he can get the run game down, he’s got a shot to be a real solid player on the interior.
Llewellyn-New version of a Kim Bokamper type player
