The stage is all set for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. Ahead of the opener of the tournament, starting on June 12, Star Sports will reveal the full list of English and Hindi commentators and presenters on June 8.
The first match of the elite competition will be between the host nation, England, and Sri Lanka at Edgbaston. India will start their campaign on June 14, against its arch-rival Pakistan, in Birmingham. Along with the cricketers of all 12 teams, it will be the commentators and presenters who will be there to keep the excitement intact throughout the tournament.
Former cricketers like Nasser Hussain, Ian Bishop, Ian Smith, Mithali Raj, Anjum Chopra, Mel Jones, Simon Doull, Veda Krishnamurthy, and many others will be the voice of the Women’s T20I World Cup 2026.

Ahead of the tournament, former India skipper Mithali Raj said that the 12-team T20 World Cup is going to be remarkable as there are too many class players across the camps, who will create moments through their performances.
“The depth of talent across the 12 competing teams is remarkable. Wherever you look, there are world-class players capable of producing moments that can define a tournament, and I can’t wait to share those moments with the world.” Mithali Raj stated.
Ian Bishop, who is among the fan favorite commentators, vows to continue his storytelling about the players who have qualified for the 2026 T20 World Cup. Through the back story of the players, Bishop will aim to inspire the emerging cricketers through his critical inputs and in-depth narratives.
“Every ICC event creates moments that live on long after the trophy is lifted, and this tournament has all the ingredients to produce memories that will be remembered by fans for generations.
