The countdown is on to the 2026 World ParaVolley Sitting Volleyball World Championships, taking place in Hangzhou, China, from 10–17 July 2026.
The world’s best sitting volleyball nations will come together for the sport’s premier global event, with 32 teams (16 men and 16 women) competing for world championship honours and valuable ranking points on the road to the LA28 Paralympic Games.
The qualified teams have now been confirmed following an exciting qualification cycle that included Zonal Championships across Africa, Asia-Oceania, Europe, and the Americas, as well as the 2025 World Cup and world ranking qualification opportunities.
The championships will bring together athletes, coaches, officials, classifiers, volunteers and fans from across the globe for eight days of world-class competition in one of China’s most dynamic sporting cities.
