The Miami Dolphins offense is going to look drastically different this upcoming season. Over the offseason the Dolphins released QB Tua Tagovailoa and WR Tyreek Hill while also trading away WR Jaylen Waddle to the Denver Broncos. Those three were main characters in this offense under Mike McDaniel, who was also relived of head coaching duties after the season.
With McDaniel gone, Bobby Slowik will be in charge of this Dolphins offense. Slowik had some success with the Houston Texans when C.J. Stroud entered the league. But after one bad season (2024), Slowik was relieved of his duties then spent 2025 with the Dolphins coaching staff. After Jeff Hafley took over, he made it a priority to keep Slowik as offensive coordinator and it’s going to be interesting to see how much this offense looks different with a new play caller and several new players, along with a new quarterback in Malik Willis.

Change is the theme for the 2026 Miami Dolphins, especially on the edge of the defense. Two incumbents remain in Chop Robinson and Cameron Goode, while the Dolphins signed four veteran free agents, drafted Iowa’s Max Llewellyn in the seventh round of the 2026 NFL Draft and signed a pair of undrafted free agents.

On paper, the 2026 Dolphins inside linebacker room is loaded. Led by All-Pro Jordyn Brooks, the group is full of proven veteran talent and highly drafted rookies brimming with potential. Miami spent a second-round pick on Heisman finalist Jacob Rodriguez and a pair of fourth-round picks on Trey Moore and Kyle Louis.
