The Miami Dolphins sort of shocked some of their fans and analysts when they went out and drafted three linebackers in this year’s NFL Draft. Just this past week, they also extended one of their defensive captains in Jordyn Brooks after a phenomenal season. So, the Dolphins appear set at linebacker and that’s even with Tyrel Dodson on the roster.
Which is why it wouldn’t be shocking to see Dodson traded at some point as his name has come up in trade talks. If Jacob Rodriguez can perform in training camp and inspire some confidence, then the Dolphins should probably explore Dodson’s trade value. While he won’t command much, he is a cheap veteran option for a team in need.
