Canada’s Anna Huang fired the round of the day with a bogey-free 65 to lead the PIF London Championship at Centurion Club in Hertfordshire with a score of 19-under-par.
The three-time Ladies European Tour winner has led from the first round and began with a birdie at the first before adding another birdie on the fourth hole. She made back-to-back birdies on the eighth and ninth holes before doing the same on the 14 and 15.
The teenager, who won her third LET title in May, then made an eagle for the third day in a row on the par-5 18th to lead by three shot with one round remaining. If Huang were to win, she would be the youngest player to win four LET titles.
“I didn’t realise how low I went until I signed my scorecard today, which was pretty cool,” said Huang. “The crowds were really big, and it was really fun, I love playing in front of a lot of people and it really hypes me up.
“I had a good group with Charley [Hull] and Lydia [Hall]. They were definitely the crowd favourite, but it was really good to be in the group.”
Local favourite Charley Hull keeps the home crowds roaring at Centurion, firing a six-under-par 67 on Saturday to hold solo second place heading into the final round.
The five-time LET winner, who fired a course round of -11 on day two, overcame an early setback to card nine birdies on the day, moving to a 16-under-par for the tournament and three shots off the leader.

“I didn’t start off too well. I didn’t birdie the first after a decent drive and then I was one-over after three or four holes,” Hull said. “Then I bounced back and felt like I played pretty solidly. The home crowds were great. As for tomorrow, I’m just going to go out there, have fun, make some birdies, and see what happens.
“Anna [Huang] is a really good player. I was really impressed by her game. She’s only young and I think we will definitely see her out on the LPGA Tour next year. She’s a really good player and got the whole game.
Ireland’s Aine Donegan is in outright third place on -11 after a third round 69, but she will have here work cut out to reel in Huang and Hull, who will paired in the final group out on Sunday with a tee time of 11.52am.
