Miami Dolphins News – Dolphins extend De’Von Achane

When Jon-Eric Sullivan became the new Miami Dolphins general manager, he made it clear that running back De’Von Achane was going to be one of their building blocks. He stated Achane was not going to be traded and that a contract extension was being worked on. Though that news wasn’t expected until the Dolphins got their salary cap in line, but they surprised us last night. The Dolphins and Achane agreed to a 4-year extension worth $68M, which makes him the third highest paid running back in the league. He has been one of the Dolphins best players over the past couple years and it’s nice to see this new regime reward their great players.
