After having announced the squad for the Afghanistan series, Rohit Sharma, the legendary Indian batter, has been drafted into the team. However, his availability will be subject to fitness.
MI head coach contradicts BCCI on massive Rohit Sharma verdict
The Mumbai Indians head coach revealed that Rohit Sharma is absolutely fit. He informed that the Mumbai Indians medical team was a bit cautious with him as he was returning from a hamstring injury. However, he now is 100% fit, as per the Mumbai Indians medical team.

“According to me, according to our medical team, Rohit is 100%. After coming back from a hamstring injury, the first game we were a bit cautious. Now is playing as an impact sub just for team combination. He is a team player; he perfectly understands it,” said Mahela Jayawardene, the MI head coach.
