Jonah Savaiinaea did not have the most impressive rookie seasons. After being selected in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, there were high expectations that Savaiinaea would serve as a solid guard option. That was not the case as he was penciled in at left guard after spending the majority of his college time at right guard.
With a new coaching staff coming in, the plan is to move Savaiinaea to right guard with rookie Kadyn Proctor sliding into the left guard spot. Maybe a move back to right guard will make Savaiinaea a bit more comfortable and have a shot at redeeming himself.
