Patrick Kane, Vladimir Tarasenko, and John Klingberg continue to look for a new home for next season

Demers: “Tarasenko is interesting one. You know, I think he’s gonna wait to see, I, they’re probably both wait. I bet you Kane and Tarasenko are both waiting for each other to see where that one goes. You know, to maybe set the market for them.
Kaner is an interesting one. You know, it’s gonna be in one of those top five teams. I don’t see him going to Colorado. You know, Utah doesn’t really need them. I don’t, not that I put Utah in the top five. But Minnesota, maybe Zuccarello’s gone. Maybe Kaner goes to Minnie. Maybe goes to Buffalo. You know, I expected to be to a contender, just like Vladdy’s going to go to a contender, and I wouldn’t be surprised also if Tampa Bay’s sniffing at both these guys.”

Thompson: “You know, Tarasenko. I thought of Utah, and then I also thought like if Kane doesn’t go to Buffalo, I could see Tarasenko going to Buffalo as well.
And (John) Klingberg going to Anaheim. Like, we talked about Anaheim needing a right-handed defenseman. You have Jackson Lacombe, you don’t have Owen Zellweger anymore. You know, if Jackson Lacombe gets hurt or whatever happens, I mean, knock on wood, but you don’t have your number one power play guy.
I mean, maybe you’ll, you know, maybe Klingberg steps in and he can do that role. So they need right-handed shot defenseman, and that’s another one that just screams to me, to Anaheim right now.”
