Mike McDaniel met with the media the other day and confirmed that the Miami Dolphins would be without RB Jaylen Wright for the beginning of the season and then some after that. Wright had a procedure done that isn’t season ending, but it is a blow to a running back room that had high hopes for Wright in year two. However, rookie Ollie Gordon II looked so good during the preseason that it should make fans feel okay with him being DeVon Achane’s backup. In a surprising move, Jeff Wilson has returned to the Dolphins on the practice squad. The veteran wasn’t used much when he was here, but knows the scheme so well that it is a big plus having him back for when the team needs him.
