Knicks To Work Out Dennis Smith Jr Alex Len Trey Jemison III

The New York Knicks are bringing in Dennis Smith Jr., Alex Len, and Trey Jemison III for a workout this week, according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Post.

Smith played for Real Madrid last season.

The news comes following the team signing Malcolm Brogdon and Landry Shamet to one-year deals.

The Knicks currently have to sign at least two more players to standard contracts, though they only have room for one veteran minimum deal and one rookie minimum deal.

As such, the team is expected to explore a trade to free up roster space in order to sign two more veterans.

Second-round pick Mohamed Diawara is expected to get signed to a standard deal by the Knicks.
