Darius Garland is “close” to returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers lineup, according to head coach Kenny Atkinson.
Garland was recently assigned to the G League’s Cleveland Charge in order to begin his ramp-up process for a return.
“Today he went through the full shootaround, so we’re getting close here. Really close. … I think there’s been no setbacks, not even any soreness or anything,” said Atkinson.
Garland is recovering from surgery on his left big toe in June.Â
