Malé, Maldives — Day 3 of the CAVA Women’s League 2025 continued on Friday at the Social Center Indoor Hall in Malé, with Turan VC of Kazakhstan and Foolad Mobarakeh Sepahan of Iran securing important victories in Pool A and Pool B, respectively, as the race for semifinal qualification gathered pace.
The seven-club competition, organized by the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) and hosted by the Volleyball Association of Maldives, has featured competitive matches involving clubs from across Central and South Asia, with each result playing a key role in shaping the standings.
In the afternoon Pool A encounter, Turan VC delivered a composed performance to defeat Club WAMCO of Maldives in straight sets, 3–0 (25–21, 25–8, 25–8). After a closely contested opening set, the Kazakh side gradually took control, building momentum through steady attacking and solid work at the net to close out the match.
Elena Samoilenko led the way for Turan VC, with strong support from Novosel Andelka, Uatayeva Bota, and Robles Batista Yunieska, as the team maintained their unbeaten run in Pool A. Club WAMCO, backed by the home crowd, saw efforts from Aminath Areesha, Lekic Dejana, and Sonsurat Ampha, but were unable to halt Turan VC’s consistency in the latter sets.
The evening Pool B match saw Foolad Mobarakeh Sepahan register a straight-sets win over Nepal Police Club, prevailing 3–0 (25–14, 25–15, 25–18). The Iranian side set the tone early and sustained their level throughout the match, limiting Nepal Police Club’s opportunities to gain momentum.

Nepal Police Club continued to compete throughout the match, with Bhandari Usha, Chand Punam, and Regmi Sumitra contributing on both ends of the court.
With Day 3 completed, Turan VC strengthened their position in Pool A, while Foolad Mobarakeh Sepahan reinforced their standing as contenders in Pool B. As the league progresses, each remaining match will be crucial in determining the semifinal line-up.
The CAVA Women’s League 2025 continues in Malé until 10 February 2026, with further Pool matches scheduled as teams compete for places in the knockout stage.
