BANGKOK, Thailand — Supreme TIP Chonburi – E.Tech secured the final semifinal spot at the AVC Women’s Champions League 2026 after defeating Bandung BJB Tandamata in straight sets on April 27 in Bangkok.
The Thai side claimed a 3–0 victory (25–22, 25–20, 25–22), delivering a composed performance to overcome a determined Bandung squad and advance to the knockout stage.
Supreme TIP Chonburi – E.Tech established control early, using a balanced offensive approach and disciplined defense to manage the tempo across all three sets. Bandung BJB Tandamata remained competitive throughout, keeping each set close and applying pressure in key stretches, but were unable to convert crucial points to turn the match in their favor.
The difference proved marginal but decisive across key areas. Supreme TIP Chonburi – E.Tech held a slight edge in attack points (47–45) and made a strong impact at the net with nine blocks compared to Bandung’s six. They also capitalized on opponent errors, benefiting from 17 errors forced, while maintaining better overall efficiency despite closely contested rallies.
Pleumjit Thinkaow led Supreme TIP Chonburi – E.Tech with 17 points, including 14 attack points and three blocks, anchoring the team’s presence at the net.
For Bandung BJB Tandamata, Zarina Vositova led the scoring with 17 points, contributing 14 attack points and three blocks, as she anchored the team’s offensive effort in a competitive showing.
Supreme TIP Chonburi – E.Tech maintained composure in decisive moments, capitalizing on their execution and experience to close out each set and secure their place in the semifinals.
With the win, Supreme TIP Chonburi – E.Tech take the final available slot in the semifinals, moving one step closer to securing one of the tournament’s two qualification spots for the FIVB Volleyball Club World Championship.
