Srixon ZXi
This is the one I’d hand a slow swing speed player first. It posted a zero percent penalty rate in our testing and it still carried a 9.8 distance score, second highest in the entire 42-driver field. A 61.6 straight shot percentage backs that up. The Srixon ZXi was runner-up in the entire low swing speed test which proves that when a club is genuinely both long and safe, it shows up no matter how you slice the data.
Callaway Quantum Triple Diamond
The Callaway Quantum Triple Diamond was tied for the longest club in the entire slow swing speed field. Its forgiveness score was 8.5 so you’re not trading away consistency to get here. If distance is your main priority and you just want the low penalty rate as a safety net, this is the pick. It’s not typically one that slower swing speed players would gravitate to but the data says otherwise.
Titleist GT2
This is the longest carrying driver in the field. What kept it off some of the best-of lists is a mediocre straight shot percentage. However, it’s important to remember that straight shot percentage and penalty percentage are not always the same. The extra carry from the GT2 didn’t make it wild but it did cause golfers to miss the center of the fairway a bit more. The pricing on this one is right and it’s been around a while. It’s worth a look if you haven’t tested it already.
TaylorMade Qi4D
The forgiveness number here is what earns this spot. At 9.0, it’s the best of any driver on this list. It paired that with a zero percent penalty rate and a still-respectable 198.46 total distance. The TaylorMade Qi4D was one of the best drivers we saw in 2026. You give up a yard or two compared to something like the GT2 but it’s a club that is good at handling off-center strikes.
Wilson DYNAPWR Max
I went back and forth on this last spot but the DYNAPWR Max earned it in the end. It matches the Qi4D’s 9.0 forgiveness score, the best on this list, so mishits don’t cost you the way they would with a less forgiving head. It backs that up with a 198.35 total and an 8.9 MGS Score. Half a yard less than the Quantum Max is a trade I’d make every time for a driver this consistent.
