During the 2025 NFL season, Miami Dolphins fans had little hope for the team. In our weekly poll asking for fan confidence in the direction of the team, Dolphins fans averaged a 26 percent positive rating. The high-mark of the year came in Week 15, when 65 percent of the responses indicated a positive reaction to the direction of the team – but there were four weeks during the year when the percentage of positive votes failed to reached the double-digit mark. At the end of the year, only 15 percent of the fans were positive about the direction of the club.
With the Dolphins well into their 2026 training camp and the first preseason game looming on Friday, we decided it was time to get another look at the fan confidence mark. After an offseason of change, from the President of the team down through the front office, coaching staff, and player roster, everything seems to be in a reset for the Dolphins this year. And, the fans seem to appreciate it.
Even with Miami the least likely AFC team to make the playoffs this year according to the oddsmakers at FanDuel Sportsbook, the fans overwhelmingly see the Dolphins as headed in the right direction. Our training camp fan confidence poll came back with 80 percent of you feeling positively about the direction of the team.
Do you agree with the poll results? How are you feeling about Miami’s direction as they prepare for their first preseason game? Head to the comments to let us know.
