World ParaVolley continues its partnership with Let’s Keep The Ball Flying (LKTBF) as the next stop on the journey takes the team to Colombia, bringing sitting volleyball to new communities while inspiring the next generation through the power of inclusive sport.
Following a successful project in Tanzania, World ParaVolley and Let’s Keep The Ball Flying (LKTBF) are once again joining forces to expand access to sitting volleyball, this time in Colombia.
Leading the World ParaVolley team are Matt Rogers, WPV Coaching Team Leader, alongside experienced players and coaches Anton Raimondo and Nicole Ban, who will work with local communities, deliver coaching activities and support the continued growth of the sport.
Throughout the trip, they’ll also be sharing their experiences through social media, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the impact of the project and the people making it possible.
Continuing a shared vision
The partnership between World ParaVolley and LKTBF is built on a shared belief that volleyball has the power to unite people, create opportunities and build more inclusive communities.
By integrating sitting volleyball into LKTBF’s global development projects, the collaboration continues to introduce the sport to new participants while equipping local leaders with the knowledge and confidence to carry it forward.
“This collaboration continues to demonstrate how volleyball can truly be a sport for everyone,” said Matt Rogers. “Working alongside Let’s Keep The Ball Flying allows us to reach new communities, share the values of inclusion and help create sustainable opportunities for sitting volleyball around the world.”
Taking Sitting Volleyball to Colombia
Over the coming days, the team will deliver coaching sessions, engage with local participants and support community activities designed to introduce more people to sitting volleyball.
The project also provides an opportunity to create educational content that will support future coach education initiatives while showcasing the positive impact of inclusive sport.
“I’m thrilled to travel to Colombia, spread my passion for Sitting Volleyball, collaborate with great people, and cherish this time and experience with my son,” said Anton Raimondo.
For Nicole Ban, the project is also an opportunity to contribute to a movement she has long admired.
“I have admired the work that Let’s Keep The Ball Flying has done from afar, so I’m especially excited to be joining the group. I’m looking forward to continuing to share the sport I love with communities around the world,” she said.

The Colombia project represents another important step in the long-term partnership between World ParaVolley and LKTBF, supporting the development of sitting volleyball through education, community engagement and international collaboration.
